We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families living with a range of rheumatological disorders.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families living with rheumatological disorders.
- Work collaboratively with the rheumatology team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of psychology services across the hospital, including the Specialist Health Conditions Stream.
- Supervise and support junior psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in research and audit activities to improve the quality of care and services.
- Good honours degree in Psychology.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, and lifespan developmental psychology.
- Eligibility for Chartered status and membership of the Division of Clinical Psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as Practitioner Psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training and recorded CPD experience in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- Formal training in supervision of other psychologists.
- Evidence of service development and team leadership skills.
- Experience of working with children who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, including experience of bereavement work.
