Environmental Compliance Role

SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team in East Kilbride.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of site-based monitoring tasks, including:

  • Trade Effluent Sampling
  • Water Quality Sampling
  • Legionella Compliance Inspections
  • Water Tank Disinfections
  • Environmental Compliance Sampling
  • Environmental Water Sampling
  • Working on safety-critical client sites
  • Assisting with laboratory analysis as required

This is an entry-level position, and full training will be provided.

The role will involve significant travelling, driving, and regular working away from home.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to accurately follow procedures
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Pass a Sentinel medical and a Network Rail Personal Track safety (PTS) certificate
