**About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Plumber - Facilities Management Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of plumbing and heating tasks, including maintenance, installations, repairs, servicing, and fault finding.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to commercial sites across the Midlands and sometimes UK wide to undertake plumbing and heating tasks.
- Undertake a wide range of plumbing and heating tasks, including maintenance, installations, repairs, servicing, and fault finding.
- Undertake further training when necessary and keep up to date with UK gas regulations.
- Keep relevant job information up to date using a tablet or laptop.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal staff to keep everyone informed of job progress or issues found.
- Carry out jobs correctly and on time, within a pre-determined timescale.
**Requirements:
- City & Guilds or equivalent plumbing qualification/s.
- Domestic Gas Safe registered.
- Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer, ideally in a Facilities Management or Property/Buildings Maintenance environment.
- Good technical knowledge and experience of working on heating and hot and cold water systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Full, clean driving licence is essential.
- CSCS Card would be useful.
**Desirable Skills and Attributes:
- A passion for delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of customers.
- A proactive approach to plumbing and heating maintenance and building management work.
- The ability to read and understand instructions and app-based software.
- The ability to work within a team and alone as required.
- A confident, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards work.
- A flexible approach to work and working hours.
**Working Hours and Benefits:
- 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break).
- Work van/van share available for business use only.
- 28 days' holiday including bank holidays.
- A clean DBS check will be required as part of the offer process.
