We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team in Essex. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide senior medical support and guidance to our team, working closely with children and young people with mental health needs, particularly those with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 support to our team and service users.
- Support your peers and team leader, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
- Work closely with our Paediatrician colleague to ensure seamless care for our patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with a strong background in CAMHS. You will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with children, young people, and their families. You will also have a strong commitment to collaborative working and be able to work effectively with other health and social professionals.
