Senior Tax Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing the tax provision, providing strategic insight, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the tax provision, offering strategic insight and operational support.
  • Work closely with a varied client portfolio, ensuring client expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Lead client liaison, including regular meetings, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
  • Support complex tax work, including reviewing computations and providing trusted feedback.
  • Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.
  • Confidently network and scope for new business opportunities, as well as identifying new service lines for the existing portfolio.
  • Review the work of junior team members, providing supportive mentorship.
  • Work closely with senior team members, providing support as needed.

Requirements:
  • Varied tax experience within practice.
  • Previous experience managing a team, overseeing performance, resourcing, learning and development.
  • Previous experience building trusted relationships within a client-facing role.
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
  • Personable character and the ability to become a liked and integral member of the team.
  • Networking skills and a desire to become involved in business development.
