About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to children and young people, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication with patients, families, and carers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and compassion.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and carers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
