About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people, working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to children and young people, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work closely with families and carers to promote health, well-being, and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Current registration with the NMC as a Registered Paediatric Nurse.
- Minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric A&E Nurse environment within the last 3 years.
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a Paediatric ward or department.
- Knowledge of child development and health promotion.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and other healthcare professionals.
