Job Title: Cost Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cost Specialist to join our team at Fletchers Group, a rapidly growing law firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence law.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload using case management software, instructing counsel to attend detailed assessments or oral reviews, and hitting agreed recovery targets.

They will also be responsible for undertaking accurate valuations, constant communication with fee earners, providing head of team updates on forecasts and recoveries, and ensuring SLA/pipeline metrics are adhered to.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in dealing with high-value litigation and negotiation cases, experience of Proclaim and Cost Master, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage own caseload using case management software
  • Instruct counsel to attend detailed assessments or oral reviews
  • Hit agreed recovery targets
  • Undertake accurate valuations
  • Constant communication with fee earners
  • Provide head of team updates on forecasts and recoveries
  • Ensure SLA/pipeline metrics are adhered to
