About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. As a key member of our WW Ops Finance S&A team, you will play a critical role in driving data strategies for our supply chain and transportation finance organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present recommendations for new metrics to improve understanding of business performance
  • Design and implement data models, warehousing, and ETL pipelines using SQL and scripting languages
  • Work with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Quicksight to create interactive dashboards
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to build next-gen analytics and data-driven reporting solutions
  • Help scale supply chain cost allocation/analytics across multiple geographies
About the Team

Our WW Ops Finance S&A team is the central Data and BI team serving the Amazon supply chain and transportation finance organization. We own multiple data assets, such as Hydra, that are key to initiatives to drive supply chain optimization and improve end-to-end Cost to Serve.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
  • 3+ years experience with data visualization, data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines
  • 3+ years experience using SQL and scripting languages to process data for modeling
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, EMR, Glue, S3, Lambda, and Redshift
