Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ODIN RECRUITMENT GROUP LIMITED. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial part in maintaining electrical systems.

Salary: £44,400

Location: Leyland area

Shift Pattern: Continental 2 Days 2 Nights 4 Off

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on high-speed industrial machinery.
  • Handle electrical breakdowns and repairs efficiently.
  • Perform fault-finding on electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively within a skilled maintenance team.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Engage in PLC fault-finding, preferably with Siemens systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and installations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Time-served Electrical Engineer with relevant experience.
  • Possession of HNC/ONC/HND NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
  • Preferred background in FMCG engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding capabilities, particularly in high voltage scenarios.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in fast-paced industrial settings.
