Job Title: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Blue Arrow - Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure.

Job Role:
  • Shift EIC Technician
Salary and Benefits:
  • £44,600.00 per annum
  • Pension matched up to 5%
  • Death in service cover at 4 times basic salary
  • Free on-site car parking
  • Company sick pay scheme - up to 20 weeks dependent on length of service, rising to 26 weeks from 1st January 2025

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure
  • Operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system
  • Required skills and qualifications include a recognised apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) to ONC/HNC Level, evidence of continued development in relevant discipline and core competences, knowledge of the Waste processing industry, and ability to effectively manage work schedules in a timely manner.
