About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Engineer Section Head to join our team at Manpower Group (UK). As a key member of our Support Business, you will play a critical role in the delivery of complex deep maintenance periods for the Royal Navy's Landing ships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance on a wide range of systems, including mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • Act as the point of contact for these systems, liaising with external and internal stakeholders to deliver or coordinate trials as appropriate.
  • Maintain and operate equipment and systems within the section, identifying and rectifying defects.
  • Accept equipment from contractors, ensuring that all contracted work is complete to the required standard.
Requirements
  • An experienced Marine Engineer with a track record of successful section management and delivering change.
  • An excellent communicator, comfortable with written and verbal communications, and able to interact at all levels.
  • A good understanding of systems engineering and the ability to be agile and adaptable.
  • High voltage or heavy electrical system section experience is desirable.
Qualifications
  • HNC qualified or equivalent in an engineering specialisation, with significant demonstrable experience.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
