About the Role

The Centura Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our fleet of approximately 150 vehicles, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations, and implementing effective policies and processes to optimize fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency and reduce fleet costs
  • Ensure accurate and detailed records of vehicle inspections, services, and maintenance schedules
  • Monitor driver behavior and implement measures to improve safety and reduce risk
  • Communicate with insurance brokers and arrange insurance for drivers and vehicles
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for fleet operations
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime
  • Monitor and report on fleet costs and ensure they remain within budget
  • Conduct carbon reporting for vehicles

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a transportation or logistics industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
