Job Description

We are seeking a Fixed Term Contract, 12 months - Information Governance Officer to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. As an Information Governance Officer, you will work closely with the Data Protection Officer to provide support in meeting our obligations under Data Protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the DPO in managing and maintaining Benenden's compliance with Data Protection legislation
  • Deliver the Information Governance Monitoring (IGM) Plan
  • Analyse data breaches and IGM outputs to produce relevant management information for the DPO and appropriate committees
  • Deliver the supplier due diligence process, assess outputs and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide technical advice to the business on data protection legislation and cyber security matters
  • Maintain appropriate data protection policies and procedures
  • Complete data protection risk management activities as required by the Risk Management Framework
