Position Overview:
Senior Associate - Private Equity Valuations


The Private Equity Valuations division is a frontrunner in providing our clients with impartial assessments of illiquid debt and private equity assets.

The Private Markets sector is a significant investment focus, with clients increasingly seeking the expertise of independent specialists like S&P Global to assist in their valuation methodologies.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in a rapidly expanding field and interact directly with prominent clients across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, hedge funds, and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients across the private markets landscape.
  • Conduct valuations on a diverse array of illiquid investments spanning various industries and regions, employing recognized and pertinent methodologies and theories.
  • Deliver analyses and findings, including comprehensive written reports, and address valuation inquiries from clients.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the financial models utilized for valuations.
  • Participate in relevant industry events to enhance your knowledge and experience within the alternative asset sector.
Qualifications:

Qualified accountant or CFA charterholder (or in the process of obtaining the qualification).

  • Proficient in software applications such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Macro, Python, or R is advantageous but not mandatory.
