About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grants Fundraiser to join our team at the Wildfowl & Wetland Trust. As a key member of our Grants team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of charitable trust, statutory, and Lottery grant partners, with a combined value in excess of £1M.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic approach to grant fundraising, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage a portfolio of grant applications, ensuring timely submission and successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling funding proposals and reports.
  • Monitor and evaluate grant performance, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in grant fundraising, with a track record of securing six-figure grants.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality funding proposals and reports.
  • Passion for conservation and the impact of grant funding on delivering organisational ambitions.
