As a Staff Nurse, you'll play a vital role in planning and implementing outstanding patient care, acting as the patient's advocate and maintaining their dignity. You'll be responsible for ensuring the care areas are safe, fit for purpose, and effectively managed.

Your key responsibilities will include delivering high standards of evidence-based care, maintaining safe custody of medications and controlled drugs, and assisting with post-operative care. You'll also contribute to budgetary management and ward audits, and compile supporting written documentation.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise junior members of the team and mentor them to achieve their workplace competencies. You'll also require strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of computer systems.
