Iconic Resourcing is pleased to collaborate with our esteemed clients in the finance sector as they seek to onboard a qualified Financial Management Specialist to enhance their expanding finance department.
This position will report directly to the Finance Director and will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the transactional finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and cash flow statements, adhering to strict reporting timelines.
- Conducting monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet, with a focus on intercompany and multi-currency transactions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the trial balance and preparing necessary journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
- Assisting the Finance Director in the development of the monthly Board presentation materials.
- Overseeing a team of Finance Assistants with diverse experience levels, providing mentorship and guidance on their daily responsibilities.
- Collaborating with the team on all aspects of transactional processing and working capital management, including credit control and supplier payments.
- Forecasting and monitoring cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Establishing and upholding robust financial policies, processes, and controls.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial analyses to support the management team in making informed strategic decisions.
- Assisting with year-end reporting requirements and external audit processes as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified professional (ICAS/ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA) with proven experience in financial management.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic business environment.
- Experience in an international and multi-currency financial setting.
- Strong commercial awareness and capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
