Position Overview
We are in search of a Business Development Manager with a robust engineering foundation to enhance our team.
The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of technical elements and demonstrate proficiency in managing proposals and fostering long-term client relationships.
While technical expertise is essential, the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and successfully close sales is paramount in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the proposal process and secure client orders.
- Manage projects involving customized equipment and maintain ongoing client communication.
- Travel as required to engage with clients and strengthen partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the Process department for technical assistance.
- Ensure careful management of valuable equipment.
- Effectively interpret Terms & Conditions.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated sales experience in a technical or engineering setting.
- Preference for candidates with a background in heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and projects.
- Confident, driven, and well-organized.
- Capable of nurturing long-term client relationships.
