Management Information System Specialist - Submarines

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

As a Management Information System Specialist, you will provide data analyst support to interpret reports, deconstruct existing reports, and liaise with the technical Extract Transform and Load (ETL) team to help design data warehouse solutions. You will translate customer reporting requirements, create Cognos digital dashboards and reporting solutions for the business.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have expertise knowledge and understanding of IBM Cognos Analytics suite, Cognos Framework Manager, Reporting and Dashboard capability. You will also need to be SAP competent in the context of business processes and data extraction, Microsoft Office competent, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions, knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL concepts, and good general understanding of business executive systems, i.e. SAP, Oracle P6, ARM, Workday. Strong business acumen skills, customer focus, self-motivation, with a commitment to delivery coupled with excellent communication skills and influencing skills. Strong stakeholder management at all levels of the organisation with excellent leadership behaviours.
