Role Overview:
A prominent and reputable regional contractor located in Surrey, known for executing high-quality construction projects valued between £1 million and £8 million, is seeking a committed and proactive Assistant Site Manager to enhance their dynamic workforce.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in aiding the Site Manager to ensure projects are delivered successfully, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and exceptional quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager with the daily oversight of construction sites.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all operations.
  • Track project advancement and compile regular progress reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or challenges that may arise on-site.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure site environment.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and health and safety standards.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work certification is desirable.
