Job Purpose:
Westwood Recruitment Solutions Ltd is looking for a skilled and dedicated Fire Door Carpenter to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in carpentry, specifically focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire-rated doors.

This role demands attention to detail, precision craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install fire-rated doors in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of existing fire doors for compliance and functionality.
  • Repair and refurbish fire doors as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to coordinate installation schedules and timelines.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to minimize risks and hazards on job sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with a focus on fire door installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations related to fire safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
