DescriptionMason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Sovereign Credit Research Analyst to join our Emerging Market Debt team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis on sovereign debt and monitoring sovereign risk from emerging market issuers.
- Conduct Economic Analysis: Assess economic fundamentals, geopolitical factors, policy making, and valuations to determine overall credit worthiness.
- Country Analysis: Develop in-depth knowledge of economies and markets, and conduct country analysis to inform investment decisions.
- Research and Communication: Work closely with our Portfolio Manager to communicate research ideas and participate in investment debates with the wider EMD team.
- Research Publications: Produce high-quality research publications for internal and external audiences.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other investment teams, as well as Client and Marketing groups to produce content for market commentaries when necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 3-7 years of sovereign research/analysis experience.
- Academic Background: Excellent academic background.
- Skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while providing high-quality output.
