In this position, you will concentrate on personal tax issues, assisting the Tax Manager with compliance responsibilities and contributing to advisory projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax computations for a varied client portfolio, including individuals, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Support Managers and Partners with advisory tasks, particularly concerning Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Inheritance Tax (IHT).
  • Work collaboratively with other offices and departments as necessary.
  • Engage with HMRC through written correspondence and phone communication.
  • Interact with clients as needed to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Prepare form P11Ds and keep clients informed of upcoming deadlines.


Requirements
  • You should possess AAT or ATT/ ACA/ ACCA part qualification or be qualified by experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accountancy practice or personal tax role. Experience in preparing tax returns for managerial or partner review and proficiency with relevant tax computation software is essential.
  • Must be based in proximity to the office location.
