About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and appraising potential land for new sites, utilizing their expertise to evaluate the feasibility of each site.
  • Developing and executing strategies for land acquisition, working closely with the wider land team to achieve business objectives.
  • Engaging with agents, developers, and landowners to negotiate land deals, leveraging their extensive network to secure new sites.
  • Conducting thorough due diligence on potential sites, ensuring that all necessary checks are completed to minimize risk.
  • Working independently in the assigned region and collaboratively with the wider land team to achieve business objectives.
  • Regularly reporting on progress and market insights, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in land acquisition within the South of England, with a strong understanding of the local market.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently achieve targets.
  • Extensive network of agents, developers, and landowners, with a strong reputation for negotiation and deal-making.
  • Proficiency in land-finding software and direct approaches to landowners.
  • Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work across the assigned region, with a willingness to travel and meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • Educational background in Real Estate or equivalent, although not essential, is beneficial for this role.
