Are you eager to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team? The Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth is seeking a Band 5 Registered Children's Nurse to enhance our dedicated Paediatrics department. Our team is committed to offering expert services across various areas of the hospital, including Outpatients and our Urgent Care Centre.

Candidates should ideally possess experience in Paediatrics within an acute healthcare setting, including Outpatients, Children's Emergency, or Urgent Care. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care across a range of specialties is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit and adaptable team.

Role Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting colleagues in maintaining best practices for all patients and visitors, in accordance with hospital and departmental policies. Ensuring the safety of yourself, your team, patients, and visitors in the Emergency Department is paramount.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment at Band 5 level, encountering a diverse range of patients, including those with primary care needs in our Urgent Care Centre. This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and be part of a continuously evolving service.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Current NMC registration in Children's nursing.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience in nursing (Outpatients and Emergency Department).
  • Significant post-registration clinical skills.
