Senior Architect Job Opportunity

Hunter Dunning is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join their team in Colchester, Essex. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team in delivering heritage and conservation schemes across all RIBA stages, with a focus on stages 4 and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in the running of projects, working closely with clients and junior team members.
  • Support and manage junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results.
  • Produce design and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work within a team and report to the Senior Associates on each project.

Requirements:

  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • AABC accredited or willing to work towards it.
  • Excellent technical skills and experience in delivering projects throughout all project stages.
  • Strong understanding of the UK building and planning regulations.
  • Proven experience across all RIBA stages.
  • Strong design skills and project management experience.
  • AutoCAD skills are essential, and Revit and NBS are desirable.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
