Service Lead – Safeguarding Children and Families

We are seeking two innovative and ambitious individuals to lead our Children and Families service, driving improvement in outcomes for children, young people, and their families. As Service Leads, you will oversee care planning for children in need of Child in Need, Child protection, PLO, and court care planning support.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage Children and Families teams, including Children with Disabilities, Edge of Care, and Adolescent teams
- Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children and families
- Collaborate with specialist areas and traditional safeguarding teams to deliver high-quality services
- Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to team members
- Work closely with the Director of Children's Services and other senior leaders to drive service improvement
- A competitive salary of £66,210 – £68,674 (plus pending pay award)
- Relocation support of up to £8,000 to assist with your move to Stockton
- Flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work from home
- 27 days annual leave per year, rising to 32 with 5 years' service
