Senior Applied Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Applied Psychologist to join our Community Enablement and Recovery Team (CERT) across the Black Country.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with severe and enduring mental illness and complex emotional needs, with a focus on providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to integrate approaches and work with service users for medium to longer term durations, while also contributing to the development and evaluation of our new pathway.
You will work closely with our Consultant Clinical Psychologist and peer CEN Applied Psychologists, as part of a new specialist psychology offer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialised and evidence-based psychological interventions to clients and families requiring input from the CMH Rehabilitation Pathway.
- Offer complex assessments leading to the co-production of psychological formulations for the client and for the team.
- Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide an effective and co-ordinated service for clients and their families.
- Provide advice, consultation and clinical supervision to colleagues, and guidance to professional and non-professional carers.
- Engage with the service leadership within CERT, supporting the development, delivery and evaluation of this new pathway.
