About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Applied Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with a range of mental health conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in applied psychology
  • HCPC registration as an applied psychologist
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
