We are on the lookout for talented and driven Heavy Goods Vehicle Technicians to join our dedicated team, focused on the upkeep and enhancement of our heavy vehicle fleet. As a vital member of our operation, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they adhere to safety and performance regulations.
Working Hours: BACKS (14:00PM TO 22:00PM)
Compensation: £18.40 to £20.02 per hour, with a 25% premium for shifts between 18:00 and 06:00 and up to 35% on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the company’s heavy goods vehicles. This involves ensuring timely completion of work in line with manufacturer specifications. You will also handle breakdowns and reactive maintenance to high standards. Your ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, communicate technical details effectively, and document all work meticulously will be essential. A keen attention to detail and strong diagnostic skills are crucial for achieving first-time fixes.
Qualifications:
Ideally, you will have experience in a fast-paced distribution setting and hold an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guild Level 2 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent. While holding an Irtec certification is desirable, we provide training and funding opportunities to achieve your HGV Class 1 licence or Irtec after a successful period of service.
