Position: Electrical Engineering Area Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineering Area Supervisor is expected to exhibit exceptional performance across a wide range of integrated functions in support of the designated Area Manager. The individual in this role will strive to achieve the same defined and measurable departmental goals as peers in comparable managerial or supervisory positions.

  • Oversee and enforce Health and Safety protocols within the designated area
  • Facilitate the interface between the Technical Services and Operations teams while improving communication practices
  • Support marketing initiatives within the area of influence as required
  • Demonstrate and monitor effective financial management and oversight within the scope of responsibilities
  • Contribute to enhancing organizational capability by consistently demonstrating a blend of technical expertise and behavioral competencies
  • Identify, nurture, and retain a technically proficient and supportive team of professionals, serving as a mentor and inspiration to colleagues
  • Advocate for and ensure the delivery of core Technical Services values, mission, and objectives throughout the work team while maintaining alignment with broader organizational priorities
  • Achieve recognition from internal customers as the primary technical resource, effectively managing both planned and unplanned situations
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ensure full compliance with all external and internal mandatory requirements, including responding to Safety Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, and other relevant documentation
  • Assist engineering managers in planning and executing annual engineering activities, business KPIs, and long-term objectives during operational seasons

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and a clear focus on planning and preparation of activities managed by engineering teams throughout operational and maintenance periods.

It is anticipated that the individual in this critical role will possess and actively demonstrate a combination of advanced technical competencies and the behavioral attributes characteristic of an effective and respected team supervisor.
