About the Role

As a Security Officer at First Response Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and staff. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring safe access to buildings at all times
  • Carry out patrols and hazard reporting as requested
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
  • Complete all necessary reports in line with company documentation
  • Access/Egress control
  • Monitoring of alarms and CCTV system
  • Key Holding responsibilities
  • Controlling and monitoring access to the car parks
  • Adhering to policies and procedures at all times
  • General refuse management and ensuring overall tidiness on site
  • Provide a high standard of customer service
Requirements
  • Valid Door Supervision SIA licence
  • Must be able to drive (must have own transport due to location of site)
  • Confident with electronic devices
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
  • Be comfortable patrolling long distances and be on your feet for extended periods of time
