Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, providing day-to-day support to the ledger function, and assisting in the preparation of purchase summaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high quantity of invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide day-to-day support to the ledger function, including cash and bank reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries and general administration duties
  • Support the management account function and deal with company expenses
  • Process business expense returns and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Basic numeracy skills and experience of purchase ledger function and transactional data entry
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Excel
