The Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Delivery Drivers to join our valued team. The role is both challenging and rewarding, requiring a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to a variety of tasks. As a Delivery Driver with Candy Carriers, you will be responsible for providing delivery services throughout the UK, operating a range of vehicles including small, transit, sprinter, and luton vans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods and packages to customers across the UK
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including small, transit, sprinter, and luton vans
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

What We Offer:

  • Minimum 48 hour per week, Monday to Friday
  • Saturday working on a rota system
  • Free onsite parking
  • ADR (hazardous) and vocational vehicle training
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Stable, long-term employment

Requirements:

  • Drivers with DCPC and Digicard
  • Full clean drivers' licence with Class C1 qualification
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Previous traceable delivery driving experience
  • Flexible, helpful, customer-focused attitude

  • Dedication and a can-do attitude

Additional Information:

  • Unsocial working hours are regular
  • Positions for Class 2 drivers also available
  • Class C1 drivers will be required to regularly drive vans
  • You will be required to complete a probationary period where van driving forms an essential part of our training methods
  • Expect the unexpected as we provide 24/7 transport services nationwide
  • Candidates should be aware that the position may involve lifting and you should be physically fit

Benefits:

  • Base annual salary: £28,828
  • Growing to circa £34,000 per year or more, including additional hours and Saturday rota
