Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24-hour support to our service users, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met. You will work closely with our team to create a safe and nurturing environment, promoting independence, confidence, and social-emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Build trust and develop nurturing relationships with service users, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve within the required timeframe.
- Relevant experience working with children and young people in a children's home setting.
- Flexibility to commit to shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
