About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the leadership and service development of our Enhanced Mental Health Liaison Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the highest standards of care, ensuring that all clinical activities within the service adhere to national clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
  • Assume a leadership role in the Psychiatric Liaison Service, providing crucial clinical guidance and expertise.
  • Ensure that all referrals to the team undergo thorough assessment, appropriate management, and timely discharge.
Requirements
  • Completion of nursing qualification and active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • 2 years of experience as a band 6.
  • Experience of working in Psychiatric Liaison Service.
  • Prioritizing quality, being progressive, innovative, and continually improving, being professional and honest, promoting what is possible, independence, opportunity, and choice.
  • Extensive experience of working with people with complex, acute mental health needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Managing clinical services, project management activities, involvement in the staff recruitment process, managing time, and delivering competing priorities.
