Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Educational Support Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Branton St Wilfrids CofE Primary School. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our children. You will work closely with our teaching staff to provide educational support and guidance to pupils in a range of classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils' learning in a range of classroom settings, including working with individual pupils or groups and whole classes.
  • Provide educational support and guidance to pupils, including helping with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to identify and address the needs of pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an educational environment with children.
  • Relevant qualification, such as a teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults, and to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
