Core Responsibilities:
  • Foster and contribute to a nurturing environment that caters to the diverse needs of children.
  • Design and implement engaging activities tailored to children's interests and developmental stages.
  • Provide emotional support and understanding to children and families in need.

  • Oversee all Health & Safety aspects, including incident reporting and risk assessments.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Level 4 Childcare qualification (e.g., CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English and Mathematics.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a high-quality nursery setting.
  • Demonstrated management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with legislation and regulations governing nurseries and the inspection process.

Desirable Attributes:
  • Willingness to pursue graduate or postgraduate training (Early Career Teacher).
  • Experience with Montessori methodologies.
  • Proven success in achieving high ratings in inspections.
