Full-time - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Working Hours: 8:15 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Compensation - £ - £ per hour
This role involves providing dedicated support to children exhibiting challenging behaviors, including those with SEMH, Autism, and those who have experienced the care system.
You will be responsible for implementing tailored behavioral interventions while ensuring the safety and well-being of the child at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a background in managing challenging behaviors and SEMH within educational settings or alternative provisions for children. We welcome applications from support workers, youth workers, former prison/security personnel, and residential care staff for children.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing challenging behaviors in group settings or on a one-on-one basis.
- Experience working with children, young individuals, or young adults facing mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and Autism.
- Must be available for immediate engagement.
- Must possess a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered with the Update Service. Assistance with the DBS application can be provided if needed.
- Must be available for Full-Time Work – Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
