Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Talent Lead to join our esteemed Talent, Development & Inclusion team. You will spearhead our initiatives in talent and career management, ensuring we attract, nurture, and retain exceptional talent. Your expertise will guide our annual talent review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Talent Review: Oversee and facilitate our annual talent review process, ensuring the identification of emerging talent and strengthening succession planning.
- Talent Management: Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and cultivate top talent across the organization.
- Performance & Career Management: Facilitate our performance management framework to enhance colleague engagement, growth, and productivity.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Enhance our established Coaching and Mentoring program, empowering our coaches to provide value to the organization and colleagues.
- Early Careers: Support our early careers initiatives to attract, retain, and accelerate the growth of new and diverse talent.
- Apprenticeships: Oversee our investment in skills and education to support our organizational talent priorities.
We are looking for an experienced Talent Lead with a proven track record in managing a comprehensive annual talent review cycle, succession planning, and performance and career processes within a large, complex organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate-level education and be CIPD qualified (MCIPD/FCIPD), with experience and confidence in collaborating with senior leaders, and the ability to build credibility in an FMCG or private label environment.
Demonstrable consulting skills are essential, with the ability to identify root causes, utilize data and insights for decision-making, and effectively identify needs before proposing solutions.
A strong history of leading and managing successful teams, along with excellent communication, coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, is required.
