About the Role:
MTrec Ltd is proud to support a reputable manufacturing organization by recruiting a Field Service Technician on a temporary, ongoing basis. Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
To ensure precise and consistent documentation of all activities, including temporary repairs logged through the CMMS system.

Proactive Improvement:
  • Promote and implement proactive strategies for enhancing machinery, equipment, and processes.
  • Conduct daily startup, shutdown, changeover, and operational checks, along with line patrols and improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing improvement projects (to be documented).
  • Perform daily and weekly inspections and maintain records for boilers, compressors, effluent, chemicals, and utilities.
  • Execute plumbing, decorating, basic electrical tasks, mechanical duties, fabrication, and joinery.

Qualifications:
Completion of an apprenticeship or a technical background, with a minimum of Level 2 NVQ or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Relevant experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, facilities technician, or similar roles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with production lines and machinery is essential.
