About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an Accounts Assistant, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Assistant to process transactional accounts, maintain the fixed asset register, and assist with month-end duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase ledger transactions
  • Maintain the fixed asset register
  • Manage employee expenses
  • Assist with accounts receivable duties
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Support the Senior Finance Assistant with month-end duties

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. You will also have a strong understanding of financial procedures and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £30,000 and a supportive work environment. The current working hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, with a 2:30 pm finish on Fridays.
