LEAD BEAUTY SPECIALIST | £14.33 Per hour

We are in search of a qualified, highly skilled, and driven Lead Beauty Specialist to join our esteemed Health and Beauty spa.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing a professional and welcoming service to both guests and team members. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, as you will oversee the daily operations of the Beauty Therapist team. Your approach should be friendly, professional, and motivational, with the ability to take initiative.

Key responsibilities include managing the reception area, handling guest bookings and inquiries, ensuring that treatment and retail sales are optimized, and maintaining the highest standards of guest care and profitability.

We uphold high standards, and excellence is central to our mission; therefore, the ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional service to every guest.

WORKING HOURS

This is a fixed-term position.

You will be contracted to work 75 hours over a 4-week period on a flexible schedule. This means your working days and hours may vary weekly, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours within each period.

As our village operates year-round, your schedule will include weekends, public holidays, and holiday periods on a rotational basis.

ABOUT YOU

Essential qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Proactive in identifying problems and proposing solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to develop, support, and challenge a team
  • Level 3 Beauty qualification or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the beauty industry
  • Background in customer service
  • Experience in team management
  • Ability to foster relationships at all levels
  • Friendly, genuine, and warm demeanor towards guests and colleagues
  • Capable of prioritizing and organizing daily tasks
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Spa / Leisure booking systems
