About the Role

We are seeking a highly committed and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at an Outstanding school in Redbridge. As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering quality teaching to key stage 1 classes and promoting a conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching the Key stage 1 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching primary school students, ideally in KS2
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Good behaviour management skills, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references
