Petroineos Refining and Trading is a prominent independent refiner in Europe, formed as a partnership between PetroChina and INEOS. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Facilities Management Team on a temporary basis for 12 months.Role Purpose:
- Test, maintain, and repair Fire and Gas detection equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect portable ATEX equipment to guarantee compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the Facilities Management E/I technician with electrical equipment tasks, promoting efficient maintenance and repair.
- Comply with established Management Procedures for Fire and Gas Detection, upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Lead Fire and Gas testing and equipment maintenance, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
- Inspect portable ATEX equipment and report findings, providing valuable insights for improvement.
- Support planned and breakdown works, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure safe work practices and completion of work documentation, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Formal Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- SVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or relevant certification.
- 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification, demonstrating expertise in electrical safety.
- COMPEX 1-4 certification, showcasing proficiency in electrical testing and maintenance.
- Experience working on COMAH sites, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- IT literacy, with knowledge of Maximo and Transform, enabling effective use of technology in maintenance and repair.
- Current driving license, facilitating travel to work sites.
