About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sustainability Initiatives to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability strategy nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of CSR KPIs and data of supplier performance, ensuring that we meet our sustainability targets.
- Provide strategic counsel to our leadership team on sustainability-related matters, including performance updates, risks, and opportunities.
- Identify and develop key sustainability programs to deliver against business goals and commitments.
- Act as a figurehead for sustainability across the business, promoting a positive culture and best practices.
- Represent CV-Library on sustainability positions at external events, showcasing our commitment to environmental responsibility.
- Oversee the delivery of sustainability-related communication, both internally and externally, to ensure that our message is clear and consistent.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building high-performing teams.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, with tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to persuade and convince others.
- Flexible to travel throughout the UK and internationally.
- German language skills would be advantageous.
