About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking electrical repairs, testing, and installation works across their dedicated area, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and our Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking electrical repairs, testing, and installation works
  • Ensuring compliance with BS7671 and our Health and Safety Policy and procedures
  • Producing concise and accurate data records through PDA/mobile communication systems and reporting
  • Attending Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks, and Technical Bulletins

About You

The minimum qualification requirements for this role are:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures, and the environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

The desirable qualifications for this role are:

  • Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either:
  • Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations)
  • Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing, and Certification of Electrical Installations

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

This role is working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Candidates must be able to facilitate working 1 in 4 week on the out of hours rota.
