Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records and processing payments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Invoices and Reconcile Billing Statements: Accurately process and reconcile invoices, ensuring timely payment to vendors and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Record Financial Transactions and Maintain Accurate Records: Record all financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and adjustments, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct Routine Audits to Ensure Accuracy: Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships and Resolve Discrepancies: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and Submit Weekly/Monthly Reports: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Support in Month-End and Year-End Closing: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with Other Accounting Team Members: Collaborate with other accounting team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of financial tasks.
  • Adhere to Company Procedures and Accounting Principles: Ensure compliance with company procedures and accounting principles, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Numerical and Analytical Skills: Possess excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately process and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Proficiency in Using Accounting Software: Proficient in using accounting software, including financial management systems and spreadsheets.
  • Good Understanding of Accounting Principles: Possess a good understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks and Meet Deadlines: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Keen Eye for Detail and High Level of Accuracy: Possess a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and colleagues.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field: Possess a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
