About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced surveyors and analysts in conducting asbestos surveys and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting asbestos surveys and inspections
  • Collect and record factual and numerical data using tablet hand-held devices
  • Learn and apply approved methods and stay up-to-date with legislation
  • Progress through our training program to become an authorized surveyor
  • Represent our company professionally in all interactions
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fulfill administrative duties, including data entry and report production

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Practical experience with tools and technical equipment
  • GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and initiative
  • Team player with a strong desire to learn
  • Flexibility for out-of-hours and weekend work

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Working Hours: 40 per week (overtime available)
  • Full-time, Permanent Position
  • Salary: Initially meets National Minimum Wage, with a significant increase upon training completion (usually 6 months)
